Because Change Takes Time
Behavioural change doesn’t happen overnight. Dogs need consistency, patience, and gradual guidance to feel secure and build new habits. That’s why at Play Paws Rewind, my support doesn’t stop after the first consultation I’ll continue to guide you step by step so you and your dog never feel alone on this journey.
👉 If you haven’t yet read about the first stages, see the Consultation Process.
Follow-Up Consultations
Four to six weeks after the initial session, I usually recommend a follow-up consultation. This allows me to review progress, answer questions, and refine your dog’s behaviour plan. Additional sessions can be arranged if needed (extra charges may apply).
Email Support
You won’t be left on your own after the consultation. For up to three months, I provide ongoing email support to help with:
Questions about your dog’s behaviour
Adjustments to the plan
Sharing progress updates or concerns
This ensures you always feel supported while you put the strategies into practice.
Tailoring the Plan
Every dog is different, and sometimes adjustments are needed. If an approach isn’t working as expected, I’ll adapt the plan to keep it realistic, effective, and achievable in your daily life.
Insurance Coverage
Many pet insurance companies cover behaviour counselling provided by APBC members. Please check your policy or speak to your provider to see if this applies to you.
Why Ongoing Support Matters
Continuing support helps to:
Keep owners motivated and reassured
Ensure progress is maintained
Address new challenges early
Build long term success for both dog and family
